Samsung Galaxy S8 Active now support for RCS Universal Profile 1.0

T-Mobile now sends updates to the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active which includes RCS Universal Profile 1.0 support. This brings improvements to native messaging applications such as the 100MB attachment and group chat of 100 people when you chat with people who also have a Universal RCS Profile.

With the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, T-Mobile has updated five Samsung smartphones with the other four Universal RCS Profile the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, S8 and S8 plus.

This update weighs in at 421.93MB and also carries the October Android security patch and some “various bug fixes and system improvements”.
